Relief fund for Injisuthi staff members after fire destroys camp

The runaway fire destroyed 11 units of the camp's staff accommodation last Saturday

EZEMVELO KZN Wildlife honorary officers have set up a relief fund to assist staff members of the Injisuthi Nature Reserve in the Drakensberg whose homes and belongings were destroyed when a fire razed the camp to the ground.

Driven by strong winds, the runaway fire destroyed 11 units of the camp’s staff accommodation last Saturday.

Ezemvelo honorary officers have set about rebuilding the infrastructure and are appealing to businesses and members of the public for assistance.

Alternatively, there are collection points in Richards Bay for those wanting to donate food, clothing or blankets.
