No letting up on the KZN north coast

Rock and surf anglers have had their tackle tested this past week with monster Zambezis and diamond rays on the bite

FISHING along the north coast this past week has again been rewarding for both the rock and surf anglers and deep sea trawlers.

Both fishing ski and ski boat anglers got stuck into good-sized dorado active around floating structures.

Simply pitch live bait or lures into the structure and get ready for a fight.

A live mozzie rigged with a bridle and a cable tie is a great way to achieve results.

Lures of choice have been poppers.

A number of snoek have also been around, mostly at river mouths.

Rock and surf anglers have had their tackle tested this past week with monster Zambezis and diamond rays on the bite.

There have also been raggies around the Tugela area.

Ensure that the tackle used is of good standard to avoid disappointment and use big juicy baits when targeting these giants.
