Expression of interest – Hillside ED Village

Hillside Aluminium has a business development centre (also known as the ED Village) in Richards Bay, Alton and is looking for a service provider to oversee and manage the centre's daily operations.

Hillside Aluminium has a business development centre (also known as the ED Village) in Richards Bay, Alton and is looking for a service provider to oversee and manage the centre’s daily operations. The centre will host a variety of skills development and business development initiatives. The service provider will utilise Hillside-owned buildings and equipment for these services.

KEY FUNCTIONS AS PER SCOPE OF WORK

  1. Business Centre management
  2. Business development support to SMMEs
  3. Tender readiness guidance
  4. Business compliance training
  5. South32 Intsika Portal registration support
  6. Skills development
  7. Technical skills training
  8. Reporting
  9. Ad-hoc enterprise and supplier development interventions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. The company must be local to the King Cetshwayo District (KCD) or have a local office in the KCD area
  2. The company must be BBBEE compliant in terms of the 2007 Codes of Good Practice
  3. The company will be required to employ South Africans, preferably from the KCD area for these services
  4. Applicants meeting the qualifying criteria will be invited for a compulsory briefing session in Richards Bay

The following documents must be submitted with the expression of interest:

  • Company registration documents (CK)
  • BBBEE certificate or affidavit
  • Company profile with contact details
