The organisation reached out to Boxer stores for assistance and was able to quickly assemble and deliver many nutritious parcels to those in need.

The parcels contained specifically curated goods for families living in Verulam, Durban and other small towns badly affected by the looting.

Parcels included soup, samp, beans, maize meal, washing powder, peanut butter, sugar, oats and other important household items.

The items were delivered to the Umgeni Community Empowerment Centre in Durban central and were quickly shipped off to the various distribution points.
