Lively trolley dash raises funds for primary school

Heuwelland Primary School and 5Five Ways SUPERSPAR host fun trolley dash

5Five Ways SUPERSPAR recently played host to an exciting trolley dash.

The fun event was a fundraising project by Heuwelland Primary School, for which learners had to sell raffle tickets. The top fundraisers were Angelica van Rooyen, Migael Groenewald and Jacobus Cronje.

Three raffle winners had the chance to fill their shopping trolleys at 5Five Ways SUPERSPAR.
Cheered on by SPAR employees, Heuwelland Primary representatives and members of the local media, the contestants had only a few seconds to fill up their trolleys with products.

Dashing through the aisles, some chose to stock up on long-life milk, while others grabbed washing detergent, cleaning products, non-perishable foods, and cooking oil.
Kotie du Toit won the trolley dash, followed by Rivashan Naidoo (on behalf of Linden Kistan) and Patience Buthelezi.

The school thanked 5Five Ways SUPERSPAR for sponsoring the trolley dash, and everyone who contributed to the success of the day.
