One injured in Empangeni crash

One person sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision in Empangeni earlier today (Thursday).

The accident occurred mid-afternoon at the 5Five Ways intersection, involving a light motor vehicle and a light delivery truck.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance attended the scene.

The injured motorist was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.

This follows a single-vehicle rollover at the Eco Junction on the John Ross last night.

Mounties EMS attended the scene and transported the critically injured patient to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
