Strong winds, rough seas for Richards Bay

Residents are urged to exercise caution amid the bad weather conditions, particularly at sea

The SA Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow level 2 warning this (Friday) morning for damaging wind and rough seas along the coast between Margate and Richards Bay.

The weather service warned that as result of strong wind and waves, there might be difficulty in navigation at sea, as well as localised disruption to small harbours and ports, with small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing.
