Richards Bay FC show form

Richards Bay FC secures win against Nsingizini Hotspurs

Keeping their fitness levels and sharpness on point before the resumption of their Betway Premiership campaign, Richards Bay FC took on Nsingizini Hotspurs at the Empangeni Rugby Club grounds on Friday.

With goals from Yanela Mbuthuma, Moses Mthembu and Siyethemba Sithebe, the result was an easy 3-0 win for NRB over the Eswatini champions.

The Rich Boyz play against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday, 27 November in a tough away game against an on-form side.

Frustrated NRB coach Brandon Truter will want better of his side, who in the last few games have conceded soft goals that have led to defeats and have failed to put away the many chances they have created.

Lack of a proven finisher sees Richards Bay hovering just above the danger zone in 12th position on the 16-team log with one win, two draws and four losses.

More worrying is the fact that they have scored only one league goal in seven games.
