Festive season law enforcement operation busts suspected human trafficking activity near Mtubatuba

THE work of law enforcement officers was commended during a roadblock on the N2 in the KwaBhoboza area of Mtubatuba on Wednesday last week.

The operation busted a flagged minibus taxi with a Mozambican registration number.

The taxi’s 17 passengers, which included two minors, as well as the driver were all suspected to be illegal immigrants destined for various places in KZN.
