Hlabisa police need help locating 3 missing people

Two children are among the three people who went missing in Hlabisa

Hlabisa police are seeking assistance in locating a woman and two children – a boy and a girl – who went missing after attending a cleansing ceremony at the Mcekeni waterfall (Mpophomeni River) on Monday.

The missing woman, who is the children’s aunt, was last seen making her way back to the parking area with the children – but there was no sign of them when it was time to leave.

They have not been seen or heard from since 10.30am on Monday, 30 December, with the district communications and Macekeni community working around the clock to try to locate them.

Anyone with any information on their whereabouts is asked to urgently contact uMkhanyakude District SAPS communications officer Captain Justice Hlabisa on 082 5580130 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
