Moderate injuries in N2 single-vehicle accident

TWO women sustained moderate injuries in a car accident on the N2 earlier this (Friday) afternoon.

The single-vehicle crash occurred between the R34/John Ross exit and the R102 intersection on the northbound carriageway.

Mounties EMS paramedics attended the scene and treated the two occupants.

Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle aquaplaned, hitting the barrier.

A canine occupant reportedly sustained no injuries in the collision.

The women were transported to a nearby private hospital for further medical treatment.
