The gathering honoured Inkosi Biyela’s commitment to his people and commemorated milestones achieved under his leadership.

Inkosi Biyela was recognised for his service delivery and the development of iSizwe, with local schools acknowledging his support for education.

Speaking during the event, Hlabisa outlined Inkosi Biyela’s impact on the institution of traditional leadership.

“Inkosi Bhekizwe Biyela is a figure of wisdom and a pillar within the institution of traditional leaders. He continues to share his wisdom and knowledge with younger Amakhosi, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of traditional leadership in our province,” said Hlabisa.

These sentiments were echoed by Buthelezi, who commended Inkosi Biyela’s dedication.
Buthelezi also announced the construction of a state-of-the-art facility that will house the traditional authority.

“We are playing our part in empowering the nation and ensuring they have access to facilities that will benefit their well-being,” he said.

In a display of gratitude, the community presented Inkosi Biyela with gifts, including a Toyota Fortuner, livestock, and other tokens of appreciation.
