Activities galore planned for Dolosfees 2025

Dolosfees promises to be a weekend of non-stop fun for the whole family in Richards Bay

It’s the Dolosfees’ 15th anniversary this year, and the theme is ‘Ons Like Van Feesvier’ (‘we like to celebrate’).

Taking place Alkantstrand from 26 to 27 September, it promises to be a weekend of non-stop fun for the whole family.

Runners and walkers are invited to enter the Dolosfees fun run on Saturday morning, 27 September. There will be 4km and 8km routes, and entry is free.

This year, the festival will also host its inaugural open-water swim at Zululand Multi Sports Club on Saturday, 27 September.

Organised by the Zululand Multi Sports Club, the event invites brave swimmers of all levels to test their stamina in the 400m, 800m or 1.2km challenge. Entries are R100 per person at msem.co.za

Of course, it wouldn’t be Dolosfees without the music!

On stage, among others, is Early B, whose infectious rap beats and witty lyrics have made him one of South Africa’s biggest crowd pleasers.

Balancing the line-up is artists like Jennifer Zamudio, known for her heartfelt Afrikaans pop ballads and gospel numbers that strike a chord with audiences across the country.

The Dolosfees grounds will be buzzing with activities, from food stalls and a beer garden, to magic shows and reptile encounters, as well as a children’s area packed with fun.

Add in Miss Dolosfees, Zululand’s Got Talent, and live rugby on the big screen, and the stage is set for the ultimate Zululand weekend!

Tickets are available at Sugar & Spice 5Five Ways Empangeni, Lakeside Mall, Northcore Surf & Skate, and Hair by Tasha in Arboretum, or online at iTickets.
