3 murder and robbery suspects died in a Mbazwana shoot-out as police hunt two accomplices.

Three suspects wanted for murder and robbery cases in Mtubatuba, Mbazwana and eManguzi were on Monday afternoon shot and killed in a police shoot-out in Mbazwana.

Two firearms and a toy gun were found in the suspects’ possession.

Police say they are searching for two additional suspects who fled the scene, narrowly escaping arrest.
