Police warn public about recruitment scam

SAPS warns against a fake police trainee recruitment scam on social media; legitimate vacancies are posted exclusively on www.saps.gov.za

A FAKE police trainee advertisement is doing the rounds on various social media platforms.

SAPS has warned people from responding to or circulating such messages, as vacancies are advertised only on the official website: www.saps.gov.za.

SAPS will never request any form of payment at any stage of a recruitment process.

Any such request should be regarded as fraudulent and reported to the nearest police station immediately.
