It’s happening this weekend!

Taking place from 24 to 26 September on the open field near Alkantstrand, hundreds of festival-goers are expected to attend the much-anticipated Dolosfees this weekend.

With numerous stalls, fun for the kids, a huge beer tent and top South African artists, there is much to look forward to this weekend.

Themed ‘Lekker Mzansi!’, the festivities kick off on Heritage Day with a themed fun run at 8am starting at Zululand Multi-Sport Club.

Heritage Day will indeed be a celebration of vibrant cultures, with events such as the Food Lover’s Market Culture Food Tasting and Plankie braai competition, performances by culture dancers and even a Heritage Day themed Miss Dolosfees beauty pageant.

Enhancing the ‘Lekker Mzansi!’ theme, a stellar line-up of KZN, Zululand and some of South Africa’s top artists will be gracing the stage.

Fatman will be in action on 25 September

Fans can look forward to seeing Prime Circle, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Fatman, Tino, Angus band, Saxby Twins and Local is Lekker performing throughout the weekend.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Angus live on Heritage Day, 24 September.

Performing under the umbrella name Local is Lekker, local artists Michelle Jooste, Shanay Rafferty, Johnny, Theuns and others are teaming up to put Zululand talent on the map at the Dolosfees.

Tino brings his music to The Bay on 26 September

Catch Sandkasteel, Leading Ladies, Jonny and Theuns live on stage on both 25 and 26 September.

Zululand’s Got Talent brings even more local flavour as the contestants get a chance to perform in front of a large audience and compete for the top spot throughout the weekend.

Enjoy the performances by Richards Bay Primary School’s marimba band, culture dancers and Richards Bay Dance Company too.

Support the skateboarding competition at Alkantstrand on 26 September

Apart from the music, the Dolosfees promises non-stop entertainment for the whole family.
Support the art classes presented by Jamyn, skateboarding competition, surfing lessons and inflatables for the kids.

Buy your tickets before 23 September and pay only R350 per person for the whole weekend, or from R100 to R180 for one day only. Kids between 6 and 12 pay only R50 per day, while children under 6 get in free.

Tickets at the gate (24 to 26 September) will cost the full price.

Celebrate Heritage Day with a fun, family-friendly 5km beach run.

The fun run starts at 8am and finishes at the Dolosfees festival grounds.
