Sassa to announce new payment dates for November social grants
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) says it will review the November social grant payment dates, which initially coincided with the upcoming elections.
The agency had planned to pay the Old Age Grant on 3 November, Disability Grant on 4 November, the children’s grants on 5 November and the fourth-day payment beneficiaries, whose grants are under review, on 6 November.
In a statement on Tuesday, Sassa said it would announce the new arrangement after consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
