Second serious accident in three days along N2 stretch near Mtubatuba

Eleven people have been injured in a crash involving a log-carrying truck and a 22-seater minibus taxi.

The collision occurred on the N2 near KwaMsane, Mtubatuba today (Wednesday).

Traffic was severely backed up on the national route as emergency services worked to treat the injured and clear the debris from the roadway.

This is the second serious accident along the stretch of the N2 near Mtubatuba, following a fatal collision between a truck and a taxi in the early hours of Sunday morning in which 12 people lost their lives.
