Tight contest at local athletic day

The tight competition resulted in some closely contested events adding to the excitement on the day

FELIXTON College’s Inter-House athletics day was hotly contested among many talented sporting individuals who left everything out on the track and field in the hopes of aiding their house to overall victory.

The tight competition resulted in some closely contested events adding to the excitement on the day.

But when the points were tallied, it was Neptune who were crowned champions with 746 points, followed by Apollo on 513 points and Vulcan with 484 points.

Juné Bezuidenhout competed in the Open Girls’ age group and broke one record

The Junior Victor Ludorum went to Mluleki Zulu, with Cate Oxley being awarded the Junior Victrix Ludorum.

Retief Louw went home with the Senior Victor Ludorum, with fellow pupil Kayla Jansen picking up the Senior Victrix Ludorum.
