Fraud case implicating Richards Bay pastor postponed

Richards Bay pastor set to appear in court later this (February) month on charges of fraud

Charged in December for fraud, a local minister appeared briefly in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

The accused faces a charge of fraud in that during April and June, the accused did unlawfully, falsely and with intent to defraud a local church.

Another accused is also charged in the matter, and both will be back in court on 17 February.

The matter was postponed as per arrangements with the defence, as well as for further investigation and one outstanding statement.

One more person is expected be arrested in this matter. Both accused are out on warning.
