WATCH: Police launch investigation after woman’s body found in Kwa-Thema

SAPS officials are yet to comment regarding the deceased woman found along Moshoeshoe Street.

Kwa-Thema – Police are investigating after the body of an unidentified woman was discovered this morning (September 15) along Moshoeshoe Street in Kwa-Thema.

This follows the discovery of five women’s bodies in the Kempton Park area.

An eyewitness who claimed to be among the first to find the body spoke to the African Reporter.

The man, who requested anonymity, said he was on his way to work at about 06:40 when he saw the body. He said another passerby’s vehicle was parked nearby.

“There was a security company there as well. I saw the body. The individuals I found at the scene were already calling the police,” he said.

Police are on the scene. An official enquiry has been sent to SAPS, and comment is awaited. This is a developing story.
