Royals, the champions
After lifting the Tsamaya League trophy high, there was no doubt that the Royals would also take home the Tsamaya Siyadlala Cup.
The final cup game between Tsakane Civil Servants and the City Royals was played at Malandela Ground on Sunday.
The stadium was filled with the supporters for both teams and those of other teams that play on the Tsamaya League.
The strong winds on the day did not force the Royals to lose their focus.
The team attacked from the first minute of the game and showed that they were eager to win the game.
The first goal scored by Royal’s Zakhele Mphethi encouraged the players to attack even more than they did before.
Within a few minutes of scoring the first goal, Tshepo Kgaswane scored the second goal for his team.
The whistle was blown to end the first half of the game.
The second half of the game started with the Royals in the lead and in the 7th minute of the second half Tsakane’s Danny Siage scored the first goal for his team.
Percival Thete of Tsamaya scored an equalising goal on the 12th minute.
Because the Royals wanted to be crowned the champions of the cup Bradley Guma scored the third goal that was followed by the fourth goal from Tebogo Matsoso.
The whistle to end the game was blown and the Royals won the game 4-2.
