State awaits results in Eden Park mother’s murder matter

Joanne Swartbooi accused of murdering her boyfriend will be back in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on September 27.

An Eden Park mother, Joanne Swartbooi, who is accused of murdering her boyfriend reappeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on July 25.

Swartbooi made a brief appearance and her court case was postponed to September 27.

Her matter was postponed for further investigation due to outstanding forensic analysis and DNA results.

The 36-year-old mother of three faces a charge of murder after being accused of killing her boyfriend Timothy Jacobs with a baseball bat and burning his body.

The accused has since denied the allegations against her.
