Nu Metro The Glen goes epic with The Woman King from September 30.

If you missed the special pre-release screenings on Heritage Day, now is your chance to experience the action-packed battles and drama of this new box office hit with movie shows scheduled daily.

For the kids, Tad the lost explorer returns to the Big Screen with a brand-new adventure and, action fans can look forward to Antonio Banderas’ new action movie, The Enforcer.

Here are the new movies opening at Nu Metro The Glen this week:

THE WOMAN KING (16 PSV)

A warrior becomes a legend… The Woman King reigns at The Glen from this weekend. Starring Viola Davis, SA-born Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and John Boyega – this epic, action-packed historical drama inspired by true events is the remarkable story of the Agojie, the all-female unit of warriors who protected the African Kingdom of Dahomey in the 1800s with skills and a fierceness, unlike anything the world has ever seen. TAD THE LOST EXPLORER AND THE EMERALD TABLET (7-9PG V)

Families and kids, get ready for a great new adventure with Tad The Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet. Tad accidentally unleashes an ancient spell endangering the lives of his friends: Mummy, Jeff and Belzoni.

With everyone against him and only helped by Sara, he sets off on an adventure, to put an end to the curse of the Mummy.

THE ENFORCER (16 DNV)

Miami’s top mob enforcer Cuda (Antonio Banderas) sacrifices it all to tear down the criminal organization he’s spent his whole life building up when he discovers his femme fatale boss Estelle (Kate Bosworth) is putting a young runaway’s life in grave danger. Now he has one last chance to make up for his past and find redemption – both for himself and his family – before the mob hunts him down for his betrayal in the action-packed thriller, The Enforcer.
