CPS Security continues to minimise crime in Alberton
Locals are urged to report any form of crime that is taking place in the community by calling local SAPS or CPS Security.
CPS Security has made several arrests lately, and the neighbourhood is now safer as a result of its proactive efforts to apprehend wanted individuals.
Cable theft suspect arrested in Florentia
A concerned local saw a suspicious-looking man climbing into a manhole and shared their worries in a message on a neighbourhood WhatsApp group.

Following the dispatch of CPS Security reaction units, the suspect was discovered inside the manhole, busy cutting electrical cable.
After being taken out of the manhole, the suspect was taken into custody.
Alberton SAPS was contacted and a case was opened against the individual.
It was confirmed that the suspect resides in an informal settlement in 2nd Avenue, Alberton North. CPS Security thanked the resident who alerted them.
Solar panel thief arrested in New Redruth
A concerned resident contacted CPS Security control room after spotting a suspicious male jumping over a resident’s wall.

CPS Security reaction officers responded to the complaint.
The suspect had already jumped into another premise where he removed a solar panel and light.
Upon CPS Security arrival, the suspect was spotted trying to hide in a skip.
CPS Security officers removed him from the skip and placed him under arrest.
Alberton SAPS was contacted and the suspect was charged with theft.
Solar panel thieves arrested in Alberton North
A client sent in a panic alert in the early hours of the morning.

While en route to the location, the CPS Security response officer noticed two individuals trying to remove solar panels from the roof of a certain company.
The suspects had begun jumping from one roof to another, so backup was called.
Both individuals were apprehended by CPS Security response personnel after the area had been blocked off.
After getting in touch with Alberton SAPS, a case was opened against the two suspects.
The management of CPS Security commended their reaction officers for their vigilance, which resulted in a successful arrest.
House breaker arrested in Brackenhurst
A call was received during the early hours of the morning after a resident suspected that someone was inside their property.

Upon the arrival of numerous reaction units, the culprit was identified and attempted to escape on foot.
After pursuing the culprit, CPS Security personnel were able to arrest him.
Stolen items were found at the scene.
Brackendowns SAPS was contacted and a case was opened.
