Alberton break-in suspect caught while still on the scene of the crime

Alberton-based Fox Security company pounced on a break-in suspect and nabbed him at the scene of the crime.

Security officers received information from their control room that a property in New Redruth had been broken into.

Security officers rushed to the scene, where the suspect was caught trying to break into a vehicle on the property.

The suspect was tackled and restrained. Upon a search being conducted on him, stolen goods and break-in implements were found.

The property owner was alerted to the intruder’s presence at night through the security camera on the property, which was triggered by the suspect’s jump over the wall.

Fox Security proceeded to hand over the suspect to Alberton SAPS.
