Security team protects property in Alberton

Another foiled burglary in the south, thanks to security personnel.

A swift response by CPS Security led to the arrest of an intruder in Randhart, Alberton, on August 19.

The incident occurred when an unknown man jumped over the wall of a property and stole items from the house.

Fortunately, the homeowner’s employee witnessed the burglary and immediately alerted the security team.

Reaction officers responded quickly, apprehended the suspect, and recovered the stolen items. The Alberton SAPS were notified, and a case will be opened against the individual.

Alberton SAPS station commander Colonel Olven Letloenyane confirmed the incident. “The suspect was arrested for breaking and entering as well as theft. He remains in custody,” he said.
