A suspect was apprehended for stealing R2 000 cash from a local store in Brackenhurst on October 20.

Thanks to swift action, the individual was arrested and detained at Brackendowns SAPS.

The security guards at the centre, where the store is located, spotted a man attempting to jump over a fence. The suspect was apprehended by the guards and eventually detained by FOX Security.

Captain Sibeko of the Gauteng SAPS spoke about the arrest. “The suspect will face charges of burglary, entering, vandalism, and theft.”
