CPS Security detains suspects in Raceview robbery, stolen goods recovered

Due to the immediate action of a team of CPS Security officers, two suspects involved in a robbery near St Columb Street in Raceview were arrested on November 10.

The incident was reported early in the morning after community members saw the suspects fleeing towards a nearby garage before being tracked down by CPS Security reaction units on Ring Road.

Authorities apprehended the individuals, finding knives, illegal substances, and recovering the stolen items.
The SAPS has been notified and is proceeding with the case.

Captain Sibeko of the Gauteng SAPS spoke about the incident. “The suspects were arrested, and an investigation is ongoing into the suspects’ criminal history,” said Sibeko.
