Security officers stop break-in bid in Brackenhurst
The criminal was apprehended after jumping the perimeter wall.
Fox Security officers apprehended a burglar following an attempted break-in at a Brackenhurst premises on January 4.
The client’s alarm was activated, and the man was seen fleeing the scene by jumping over the wall.
A detailed description was given to the responding officers, who searched the area and found the man a few streets away. The client positively identified the man.
Teamwork and a quick response ensured the situation was handled swiftly and professionally.
The burglar was detained at the Brackendowns SAPS.
“The suspect is charged with breaking and entering and will be held in custody for now,” said Captain Lorraine Van Emmerik of the Brackendowns SAPS.
