According to Fox Security, information was received from License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras about a wanted vehicle that was involved in an armed robbery in December.

The Fox Tactical Units together with GTS Security, Mondeor CPF sectors one and two, JMPD, and Mondeor SAPS quickly responded.

A member of GTS Security and JMPD located the vehicle and a high-speed chase ensued. The robbers hit a dead end.

Fox Security confirmed the following:

• One suspect managed to get away
• One suspect was apprehended
• One firearm was recovered
• One vehicle recovered
• False number plates were found on the vehicle.
