Police appeal for help to locate supect wanted for Alberton fraud case

SAPS urges Alberton residents to assist in tracking down a 28-year-old woman linked to a 2018 fraud case.

The SAPS in Ekurhuleni is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Gladys Tleane, a 28-year-old woman wanted in connection with a fraud case that occurred in Alberton in April 2018.

According to the Office of the Ekurhuleni District Commissioner, Major General Anna Sithole, police have continued their efforts to trace Tleane, but she remains at large.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have information that could help locate her to come forward.

Detective Sergeant TJ Seope of Alberton SAPS has been assigned to the case and can be contacted directly at 083 518 7970.

Members of the public may also report information anonymously through Crime Stop at 08600 10111.

SAPS emphasised that community cooperation remains crucial in resolving this case and ensuring accountability.
