Businesses along Jules Street were closed this morning following another night of protests in the area.
When the EXPRESS visited the area earlier, there was no police presence and much of the area was calm.
A vehicle spares store was still smouldering from a fire last night.
Other surrounding businesses had closed. Business owners and employees affected by last week’s protests were still cleaning up.

Captain Richard Munyayi from the Jeppe SAPS has told the EXPRESS that businesses in Doornfontein were also affected during last nights protests.
“The situation is currently quiet in the area,” he said.
