Sing For Joy this May
The St Dunstan’s Music Foundation will stage its Sing for Joy concert on Saturday, May 21 for the 14th consecutive year.
The concert, which is titled ‘A Transport of Delight’ will take place at St Dunstan’s Cathedral church in Woburn Avenue at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
‘A Transport of Delight’ is produced and directed again by Malcolm and Janet Chalmers, who will also be involved with the arrangements, including playing the organs.
The concert will comprise a choir of approximately 80 to 90 members singing sacred and secular numbers.
The choir will be accompanied by a brass band from Pretoria who will play at each performance, as well as by guest performances by the St Dunstan’s College and Preparatory School choirs, and the Benoni High School award-winning pipe band.

There will be a food fair between the two performances and during this period entertainment will be provided by the St Dunstan’s College Marimba Band.
