Lions jumble sale a success

The Benoni Lions Club had their first monthly jumble sale for the year at their clubhouse on Howard Avenue, Benoni CBD, on January 25.

The club has jumble sales on the last Saturday of every month.

Club president Tina Strachan said they raised R2 000.

“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items, without their assistance we would’ve not been able to add to our service projects fund,” said Strachan.

“We rely on donations from the public to make or jumble sale a success.”

Strachan added that their clubhouse is available for hire at a reasonable rate.
