“In true school spirit, everyone rallied together to make it a success. Nothing brings a community together like sport.

“It teaches children the values of sportsmanship, teamwork and resilience – lessons found in both victory and defeat. It also unites parents and coaches in a shared mission to bring out the best in every child.”

“Spur Santa Cruz (Northmead Square) played a key role in making the day memorable by sponsoring various prizes, including the Spur of the moment award for standout players and a special award for scoring a try on the Spur or Farrarmere Primary logo placed on the try line.

A total of 95 teams took part in the netball tournament.

“Clean Projects Benoni assisted in clearing the nearby grounds to create additional parking for the large crowd. This service was volunteered to the school, and we thank Clean Projects for always putting the community and any school initiatives at the top of their priority.

“Thank you, Jones Plumbing, who stepped in to support the event by crafting and donating custom mini rugby posts for each of the six fields.

“Thanks to Bad Boy Security. The day ran smoothly and safely with no incidents reported, even with more than 1 500 attendees. We are proud to have hosted such a successful day and look forward to more events like these that celebrate youth sport and community collaboration.”
