Officers from the EMPD Bronberg precinct, the Tracing Unit and the Eastern Region Task Team arrested 21 people in Putfontein, Benoni, Springs and Daveyton.

Participating in various operations, including stop and searches, crime prevention and strategic operations, officers arrested eight undocumented foreign nationals in Benoni and Springs.

The Tracing Unit arrested five men in Putfontein, who were sought for malicious damage to property, assault common with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and domestic violence.

The Bronberg officers arrested eight people for assault, among them three women and five men, in Daveyton.
