Crime prevention breakfast a success

The SACSC (South African Council of Shopping Centres) KZN Chapter recently held a networking breakfast which focused on crime prevention, hosted by Mobile Security at the Durban Country Club.

Guest speaker, Wahl Bartman, CEO of Fidelity Security, discussed an integrated solution as the only way to combat crime by a partnership between police, security companies and clients.

Bartmann grew up in the surroundings of the private security industry, joining Springbok Patrols in 1990 – a security company that the Bartmann family owned until it was sold to Fidelity. Drawing from his wealth of experience in the industry, he said it was essential to be pro-active by using technology and information to combat and prevent crime.
