THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is looking a man who they believe can assist in a rape investigation.
It is alleged that on 12 February, a 22-year-old woman was on her way to school when she was approached by a man who started talking to her. He then grabbed her and pulled her into the nearby bushes in Gazala Crescent, Mayville, where he raped her before fleeing the scene.
A case of rape was opened at Mayville SAPS for investigation.
The Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is looking for the man in the identikit, who is around 40 to 50 years old. He is of medium build, short in height and dark in complexion. He was wearing a multi-coloured jacket, blue jeans and is believed to be a security guard.
