THE Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa will hold a Mended Hearts support meeting on Thursday, 21 May at 5pm at Life Westville Hospital.
Guest speaker will be dietician, Kathy Krog. The meeting is free to attend, and is of interest to those that have suffered a cardiovascular disease or stroke event or know of a family member or a friend that has suffered such. Refreshments will be served.

LIFELONG Learning presents a talk on how to cope with the death of a loved one, on Saturday 23 May from 10am to noon at Glenwood Christian School, intersection of Umbilo and Allenby Gardens Road.
Vicky Ireland, author of a book on this topic, will speak on the legal aspects of dying and Nivedita Dayanand, a social worker at Tafta, will speak on the social aspects of dying. All welcome.
A DOMESTIC violence workshop takes place on Saturday 23 May at St Johns Church, 80 Rippon Road, Sydenham from 8.30am.
