SAPS recover stolen goods worth R45K

SAPS has appealed to the community not to buy stolen goods.

TWO suspects were arrested for theft of a TV screen and assorted clothing valued at approximately R45 000. SAPS caught the suspects with the stolen property and house-breaking implements in their possession. These included a crowbar, bolt cutter and pliers. The implements and stolen property were seized in the Durban CBD on Sunday, August 7.

According to Captain Muzi Maphumulo, spokesperson for Durban Central SAPS, police arrived on Monty Naicker Road on Sunday, following reports of a break-in the previous night, Saturday, August 6.
