With final results having been released this week, Berea Mail spoke with top achievers from two local schools about how they made it through their final year of high school.

THE Class of 2023’s matric learners took their futures into their own hands and performed excellently in the National Senior Certificate examinations. Thousands of local school learners received their final results today, and after excitedly sifting through newspapers or looking for their identification numbers online to see how they performed, many matrics from the Class of 2023 can finally rest easy, knowing their hard work has paid off.

Berea Mail visited Durban Girl’s College and Curro Heritage House High School in Glenwood this morning to find out how the hard-working matriculants are feeling after receiving their results. The Class of 2023 at Durban Girls’ College achieved a 100% pass rate, and 100% of the learners achieved a Bachelor’s Pass, and at Curro Heritage House High School, the learners received a 100% pass rate and a 93% Bachelor’s Pass.
