EDITOR – What is wrong with the residents in South Africa? No one seems to respect an invitation that has an RSVP date. It makes my position as the event planner very difficult as I am not sure how much to supply. If you are not paying to go to a function, can’t you just spare five minutes and make the event planners work that much easier to reply to the e-mail. If you have responded and you can’t make it please cancel your reservation so that we can put someone else in your place.
Thank you to all those people that did respond to the book launch on Friday 20 September and to those who did book and cancelled because you can no longer make it. I really applaud and respect people with manners.
