My faith is restored

A resident thanks the Wentworth Police Department for their hard work.

EDITOR – I recently discovered, after much searching, that I had had a burglary at my sixth floor flat.

As none of the goods that were stolen were insured, I decided against reporting the incident to the police. Having thought the stolen goods were gone forever, I was shocked to be awakened at 5am two mornings later by Warrant Officer Palmer and his team from Wentworth Police Station.

They had caught the culprit, who was still in possession of some of the goods, and he had lead them back to my flat. I would like to extend sincere thanks to the Wentworth Police Department. You have all restored my faith in the South African justice system!
