Thanks for your help

A resident thanks two men who helped her husband when he had a fainting attack in Overport.

EDITOR – On Tuesday 23 February while shopping at Checkers, Overport, my husband had a sudden and alarming vaso-vagal fainting attack.

When he collapsed it was our good fortune to find help materialising all around, though quite unsolicited.

Particularly I want to thank Messrs Brauns and Fourie, who carried him to a safe place, settled and laid him comfortably, helped to revive and water him, and then even found and fetched a wheelchair to ferry him to our car.

You dealt with a crisis with such willing kindness, strength and skill. Our gratitude knows no bounds.

Human nature is a wondrous thing, a gift of gold that too often lies unacknowledged in this caring rainbow nation of ours. We are because you are.
