EDITOR – Last night I took a walk in Florida Road and was horrified to see the state of these poor trees.
After your article about the trees in St Thomas Road I was wondering if this is another botched attempt from Parks and Gardens?

Due to the extreme weather we experienced the weekend before last, a number of the tree bowls suffered from erosion.
The UIP has received quotes to have these refilled and replanted and we hope to approve same by close of play today (Tuesday).
