Saint Giles cyclists conquer Tour Durban
Jean Erasmus and Marc Davies had a successful Tour Durban race experience.
SAINT Giles staff and cyclists, Jean Erasmus and Marc Davies finished the 2017 aQuelle Tour Durban 45km cycle race under their targeted finish time of three hours.
The duo crossed the finish line together in a time of two hours and 20 minutes, beating their target by 40 minutes! “Getting up at 3am and cycling between 23km and 32km six days a week definitely paid off! Marc and I did ourselves proud!” said Jean.
“The race was such a success! Jean and I are looking forward to next year’s event,” said Marc, although Jean is confident the next target is the Amashova 65km race.
Saint Giles thanked all the donors who supported the cycling duo with race sponsorships.
