BCHA’s Orchestra 2018 event will be at Nkulisa Conference Centre on Sunday.

THE British Cultural and Heritage Association (BCHA) is holding its annual Massed Orchestra concert is on Sunday 21 October at Penzance School, Nkulisa Conference Centre, 61 Penzance Road, Glenwood under the seasoned baton of conductor Sue Cock.

As a curtain-raiser to the concert, which starts at 2.30pm, Bryan Clark’s Caribbean Connection Steel Drum Band and the Westville Girls’ High School Marimba Band will entertain the audience between 2pm and 2.30pm.

The main concert opens with the South African National Anthem. Eclectic titles to be heard on the bumper programme of concert favourites include the Strauss’s Radetsky March, Anderson’s Syncopated Clock, Coates’s Sleepy Lagoon, Fucík’s Entry of the Gladiators and other well known compositions.

R50 at the door. Secure parking is available for participants and the audience. Seating is unreserved. The British Cultural and Heritage Association offers sponsored tickets to interested and deserving organisations.
