Gin festival for Durban

RAISE your glasses to the holidays at the SA Gin Festival on Sunday, 15 December at The Hay Store at the Durban Point Waterfront.

The SA Gin Society and Schweppes will present a wide variety of different locally distilled, award winning gins at the festival.

For only R180 per ticket, guests will each receive a gin glass, three tasting tokens and two complimentary Schweppes mixers. This is a family friendly event so children under 18 who are accompanied by an adult will be allowed to enter free of charge. No food or drinks will be allowed into the venue however there will be a large variety of food options, so take along picnic baskets and camping chairs. Safe parking is available at uShaka Marine World, which is a five-minute walk from the venue.

Apart from the large variety of gin products on offer, the event will boast cocktail-making classes which will be free of charge for visitors attending the festival. Festivalgoers can book their spot when they arrive and will be catered for hourly on a first-come-first-served basis.
