World champions France get their Nations League campaign underway with a home game against Denmark tonight while a lowlands derby between Belgium and Netherlands could be a good pointer as to their chances at the World Cup in Qatar later this year. More details at www.soccer6.co.za

M1 Thor vs Selfoss: Thor have not won in their last four outings with two draws and two defeats. Selfoss have a one point lead at the top of the table in Iceland’s second division.

M2 Belarus vs Slovakia: Belarus must play this game in Serbia because of the war in Ukraine. They upset Slovakia away the last time they met them in head-to-head combat.

M3 Belgium vs Netherlands: The Dutch last beat their neighbours in 1997 but have gone eight meetings since without a victory over Belgium.

M4 Croatia vs Austria: Austria play a first game under new coach Ralf Rangnick, fresh from his stint at Man Utd. Croatia are on a nine match unbeaten run.

M5 France vs Denmark: France have won their last seven games in a row. Denmark have a single away win in France with seven defeats.

M6 Liechtenstein vs Moldova: Liechtenstein have lost 13 of their previous 14 internationals but are unbeaten in two previous clashes with Moldova, including a famous away success eight years ago.

M7 Burkina Faso vs Cape Verde: Burkina Faso are another of the African countries disqualified from using a home venue and ‘host’ this game in Morocco. Burkina beat the Cape Verde at the Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon in January.

M8 Ivory Coast vs Zambia: Ivory Coast play a first game under their new coach Jean Louis Gasset. Zambia begin their bid to qualify for next year’s Cup of Nations finals after missing the last three editions.

M9 Afturelding vs Grotta: Afturelding have collected two points from their opening four games of the new Iceland second division season. Grotta are fresh from a 5-1 home success at home last weekend.

M10 Kordrengir vs Grindavik: Kordrengir are unbeaten in their last four games while Grindavik are in third spot in the early stages of the new Iceland second division season.

Suggested permutation:

R16.00 1 x 2,3 x 1,2 x 1 x 1 x 2,3 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 1
